Who hasn’t taken a second to think about the ways in which computers have changed, and will continue to change, our lives? It’s a tired topic, but I was thinking about the unnoticed ways in which growing computer power (in shrinking package sizes) is continuing to change things.
I have struggled with note-taking for my entire life. No matter how many techniques, programs, or apps I’ve tried, I have yet to find one that really “clicks” with me in every way. But I think the problem is probably me.
Here’s a new one to me. Qubits. As in “Quantum Bits”, or the building blocks of a new era of computing. The short version is that IBM (and others) are trying to harness quantum behavior by building computers from qubits, and these computers would be like nothing we’ve ever seen.
